SYLGARD™ 184 is a two-part silicone elastomer system composed of a liquid base and curing agent. When mixed at a 10:1 ratio by weight and cured, it forms a flexible, durable, and optically clear PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) material.
- Type: Platinum-cured PDMS silicone elastomer
- Components: Part A (Base) + Part B (Curing Agent)
- Mixing Ratio: 10:1 by weight (Base:Curing Agent)
- Curing Options:
- Room temperature: 48+ hours
- Heat cure (e.g., 60–80°C): ~1–2 hours
- Color: Transparent, clear when cured
